Birdfeeder Reflections and Cardinals

in #nature7 years ago (edited)

I'm just going to let these photos speak for themselves.

I'm always trying to take good photos of the birds at my feeders or in the backyard.

I'm pretty pleased with these!

Female Cardinal on the backside of the bird feeder with just her tail feathers, eye and beak outlined by the sun!
That's a finch on the frontside of the feeder

What do you think?

Do you see the rainbows and beautiful reflections on the bird feeder?

Very nice, beautiful birds :) there are cardinals that fly in my backyard every once in a while...

Love cardinals. They are so pretty! We don't have them here. I always used to love to watch them roll into our neighborhood when it started getting colder. Thanks for sharing a little bit of home. :)

You are welcome!

The birds are gorgeous mam😍
I came to know about these birds from your post except that finch on the frontside in last photos

I love cardinals! great how all those reflections are going on in the first one!

@dmcamera I’m glad you think so too! I’m not a professional photographer like you are, but it is fun to get a great photo once in awhile. I just pretty much try to document my flower gardens, etc. with my photos.

The important thing about photography is to have passion for it. The rest will come!!

Thank you @dmcamera, I'll keep that in mind!

Beautiful birds, we have none. Only a lot of sparrows and crows.

The city I grew up in only had sparrows that came into our yard in El Paso, Texas. If you were lucky you would see roadrunners in the desert on the outskirts of El Paso. I was so happy when I moved to North Texas, because we see cardinals and a huge variety of birds here.

muy bonitas imágenes, mucha suerte y éxitos para su blog:)

seria de gran ayuda que pasara por mi blog:) yo lo estaré haciendo por el suyo.!

Nice! Getting good bird shots is always a challenge. I usually stick the telephoto lens on the camera, point in the general area, and hope for the best!

Haha, that sounds like my technique, except I don't have any lens to change out! I just zoomed out! Thanks for coming by!

Beautiful photos. I love the cardinal shots!
