(Venus and the Moon) - Nature Photography My Backyard, CA 7/17/18

What star could this be next to our gorgeous moon?
Wait... It's not a star!?
No, this is our second planet in our solar system, Venus!
This anomaly happens every few years, and is quite a site to see! I don't know how many of you remember the movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger "End of Days", but there was a scene in there where they had discussed that the Anti-Christ was born under this moon.
As we know, this is not true. It is just a spectacular cosmic constant that is amazing to observe every time it comes around.
