Amigurumi #34: Dexter the dinosaur

El dinosaurio Dexter-Dino

Dinis!.png

Hello, this is Dexter the dinosaur. This is a request they made me, they wanted a dinosaur that would stand on 4 legs. I decided for this dino because being for a small child must not have wire, ie must be soft. The pattern is free and you find it in: http://themagicloop.com/index.php/2016/02/29/dexter-dinosaur-free-amigurumi-pattern/ It measures 17cm standing and 30cm long.

As for the cotton thread, I have a standard thickness (2 millimeters), and when the patterns indicate threads of greater thickness I must weave it with a double thread otherwise the amigurumi is very small. Let's go with the materials.

Materiales:

  • Hilo de algodón (cotton yarn)
  • crochet Nº2
  • perlitas negras (black pearls)
  • aguja punta roma (blunt point needle)
  • napa siliconada (Siliconated nappa)
  • tijera (scissors)
  • alfileres (pins)
  • internet

It began by weaving the head, from the snout backwards, followed by the neck, followed by the tail. The body tissue was started with chains, followed by augmentations shaping the body. To form the legs was divided the total points of the body into four. Then the clear parts were woven that will go forward and backward from the tail.

Once we have all the woven parts (head, body and tail) sewn together forming the amigurumi.

It was woven and stitched the stains in light and dark green. For the eyes, black pearls were placed.

Y listo, tenemos a Dexter el dino.
¡…Hasta la próxima!

And ready, we've got Dexter the dino.
See you next time!

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.

He’s adorable ~

At first I thought it wouldn't look like the original, but knitting and unweaving in the end was curious.
