My Thoughts: One of my top 3 favourite tokens.

NEO aka the Ethereum of China. This token has the ability to generate your GAS which is like a dividend when you hold NEO in your wallet. In future when NEO is worth a lot the value of gas will increase therefore you can see it as a little passive income.
This token will be really big in 2018 because the team has been working very hard to combat the China ICO ban. They have been touring the globe and explaining how anyone can launch their company on the NEO blockchain. They are setting themselves for a massive Q2 2018. I expect a lot of developers will be ready to launch plenty of ICOS on NEO from the western world. The BTC / ICO ban with China will eventually have to lift but we are not sure when but hopefully very soon this year as they are falling behind with technology and entrepreneurs are moving outside China to pursue their businesses. NEO is mentioned to be very government compliant and may have ties with the Chinese government.

There are a few ICOS coming out within the next few weeks meaning the token should gain more value because NEO is needed to participate. NEO is one of the blockchains that are ahead in this space compared to ICX, NEM, WAVES and EOS because they have successfully launched ICOS with massive success and also companies deciding to jump over to their platform.

NEO is listed on most major exchanges, they have CITY of ZION, Working wallets, Block explorers and templates to start developing on their platform.

There will be high value investors / hedge funds attending the event.
