Being a new person here is hard. Someone need to create a noob friendly tutorial and sticky it lol.

There is no noob tutorial for certain things that you need to do. I just learned today that I need to collect my rewards. I was totally unaware that I needed to do that. I also did not know how to check for people who responded to my post until yesterday I think. I was there really wondering why my voting power is not increasing any at all, and why my account power seems to be decreasing. I thought voting was free but I think it might not be, I don't even know. I also am wondering how much rewards I missed because I did not collect any till today.tutorial-1656197_960_720.png

i know exactly what you are talking about!
:-)

Hopefully we will both get the hang of this.

Juliany, welcome to Steemit. This is my 9th day here. It took me a few days to figure out just how to "upvote".

Please don't be discouraged.

I'd like to suggest you use the search engine to find info you need. I've found there are many articles on each topic, and some have nearly a page full of links. It can be overwhelming. I don't follow every link.

I skim through the article to see if it is in line with what I'm trying to learn and click through on links that look like they might be helpful to me.

I had to read so many posts to find the info I needed at first that there were times when I nearly tore the hair out of my head.

I eventually find the info I'm looking for, come across a lot of helpful info that I wasn't looking for, and have found lots of interesting topics and authors and really cool people.

Read, read, read, and it will eventually start to make sense. It's easy for me to say to have patience - there were times when I had none. It gets better. It has, at least, for me.

Happy travels!

Thank you for the advice.

Juliany, you're so very welcome, and just keep at it. All of us noobs are learnin' this together.
