Tomb Raider: Critics review
New reboot of a well-known franchise Lara Croft Tomb Raider gets its first reviews.
The movie got divided opinions, with some praising it, while others... not so much.
The role of an adventureous tomb raider, previously played by Angelina Jolie, has now been taken by an oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander who was described in the movie as 'a star who is clearly more than up to the task'. Most of the critics praised her performance as well as her fit looks for the role.
On the other hand, critcs didn't say anything good about the story, calling it 'boring' and 'slow-paced' and describing it as 'a mix of clunky action-movie exposition and winking Indiana Jones-style humor.'

While the critics are split, fans will have a chance to decide for themselves when the movie comes out on the 16th of March. I will also review it, as soon as I see it, so stay tuned...

The film is a solid action/adventure movie that respects the source material while making a fun and enjoyable film. It's is a well done popcorn flick! I think some critics expected too much.
