Did you check all apps the infrastructure provides? I think essential is to start posting, ideally post in a visual nice way using editor or even markdown - include visuals (Video and photo). Only 4 posts a day - try to engage with other by commenting. Take part in challenges and contests. It can take a while - I started in August and stopped in September because i did not really read what this infrastructure offers and i was too lazy - started again this January, reading a lot and now finally understood the system a bit - feel free to ask any questions!
The best guide for me was from the awesome @thecryptofiend here - check it and it explains a lot you need to know!
