Creating a unique post is an art. Writing some stories, giving tips to people, creating a guide etc. All these venues are so demanding. A creative person can do it easily but skill is the key.

However some categories in steemit offer readymade platform for posting e.g. Photography, meme, selfie.
Video is another tag where people share there youtube videos alongwith brief text articles. Its known that youtube is a good platform itself for earning throgh video creation, but its policy, terms & conditions are too strict to follow. The content over youtube is mostly copyrighted and others can not use that content as their property without consent of the original creator who holds the rights. But these videos are shareable and people can freely embed youtube videos of other people in their blogs & websites. This action not only supports the sharing person but also boosts the earning of content creator as he gets a lot of views without any effort.

It is pertinant to mention that I don't know the policy of steemit about sharing videos of other people in our blog without there permission. If somebody knows then please guide me. The point I want to raise, if it is permitted to share youtube videos created by others then it can give a booster to your blog. You can share interesting youtube videos with detailed context as article in video or youtube tag and get attention of people with less effort. Specially newbies can take advantage of this.
