Righto, so for those who are unfamiliar with us we are the Steemit Newbie Resteem Initiative. We are a group devoted to providing support and guidance to new members of the Steemit community by helping their posts gain more exposure, as well as providing advice on how to hit the ground running on the Steemit platform. One of the ways we do this is by devoting one day a week to resteeming promising new users content on our blog to help get those post more views. So if you are new and want to increase your posts exposure then feel free to pop a link to your post below and I will resteem it.
What Is A Mega Swap?
A mega swap is when other members of the initiative agree to swap new users posts for resteeming to help increase their exposure. So if they have resteemed a new user then I resteem them, and if I have resteemed a newbie then they do the same. Practiced in a large enough number this can increase a new users audience significantly. If you are already a volunteer with The Steemit Newbie Resteem Initiative then just leave a comment saying you want to mega swap and I'll pop over to your blog and resteem your newbies to my followers.

this is a good place for nameless people to check out starter posts.... however next time your first tag should be something mainstreem. you are limiting your exposure with that first tag. use minnowsupport and put the other second.,
I'd love to, but we are starting a new initiative called The Steemit Newbie Resteem Initiative. You can check us out at #newbieresteemday. We are focused on promoting new users by assisting them in gaining more views for their content as well as providing support in getting them started on the platform. There is no charge or gimmick, it's all about giving back to Steemit and building the platform through new users. We are kind of humbly starting off but we have hopes of it taking off as a grass roots initiative built through the community. Most of us know our follower base so we know a good resteem from bad, and a good effort from a poor one, so we aim to share that with as many as possible. We would love the support of minnow support in our effort though. In fact any experienced users (no whale or minnow tag, just kind people who are supportive no matter the ranking) or clever hands to help new members are always welcome here. Perhaps we are limiting ourselves by our first tag, but it's only 15 days old and we are just starting. Hopefully over time we will be on an equal tier with #minnowsupport and working together to contribute to Steemit and build an awesome system of support to new arrivals to the platform. It has been resteemed and thanks for stopping by. As a thought...... Perhaps begin to include header images on your posts? As Steemit is a blog on which people do a lot of skimming. Pictures are part of sometimes snapping them into reading if they harmonize well with the written content. You write well, so perhaps this will help with drawing more attention to your content. I enjoyed the post and keep up the good work.
This is a good point. I will try and break the content with more images as well. Its part of why I am here, to improve. Its a good point, Most of the time text only gets speed read. People have limited time so they might not stick arround to the good parts. but an image is instant. As they sat an image says a thousand words. Will surely keep this in mind.

I'm in mate. Tis a Monday night and resteeming posts is a more productive way for me to spend the night than me wasting it on Netflix again. Or at worst I'll definitly get a fair few resteems done by the weekend. : )
