In 1961, he became first in the whole India in the secondary examination. In 1963, obtainined Masters degree in Mathematics from the University of California in just two years. Got PhD degree in Mathematics in 1969.

Recognised as the father of "Reproducing Kernels and Operators with a Cyclic Vector."

In 1969, joined NASA as a researcher and came back in own country in 1973. He was asked for his unprecedented success in NASA - if their had been a Nobel Prize in mathematics, he would have got it!!!!
