Gatot Nurmantyo has no party yet, if there is no direct want, but the negotiation used to be

Former TNI Commander Gatot Nurmantyo declared his readiness as a presidential candidate in the 2019 presidential election after his retirement from the military service.

However, he admitted until now there has been no political party that states will support or carry.

He revealed that he would not immediately accept or agree if there is a party that states will support the 2019 presidential election.

Gatot chose to negotiate in advance regarding the establishment of a cabinet with supporting coalition parties.

"I do not have a party yet, if there is a party that wants to carry me not directly, we will negotiate," Gatot said as a guest speaker of One Desk Compass TV entitled 'Political Street of the General', Monday (23/4/2018) night.

"The negotiations on the cabinet's determination have been done since now with the coalition parties, with the cabinet's cabinet, the cabinet 1, 2, 3 from each party," he said.

According to Billy, the negotiations must be done so that the government can run effectively and efficiently if he was elected president.

He cited the differences between the government of President Joko Widodo and the government of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

Gatot considers that too much political party intervention has influenced the effectiveness and efficiency of governance.

Different things happen when the government is held by President SBY. Gatot said, as the highest leader of the winning party to make SBY able to properly apply the presidential cabinet system.

"Right now I see that too much party intervention so the command line is sometimes inefficient," Gatot said.

"Negosiasi bahwa penentuan kabinet dilakukan sejak sekarang dengan partai koalisi. Dengan perjanjian ada kabinet-kabinet cadangan, kabinet 1, 2, 3 dari partai masing-masing," ucapnya.

Menurut Gatot, negosiasi tersebut harus dilakukan agar pemerintahan bisa berjalan secara efektif dan efisien jika dirinya terpilih sebagai presiden.

Ia mencontohkan perbedaan antara pemerintahan Presiden Joko Widodo dan pemerintahan Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

Gatot menilai saat ini terlalu banyak campur tangan partai politik sehingga berpengaruh pada efektivitas dan efisiensi roda penerintahan.

Hal berbeda terjadi saat pemerintahan dipegang oleh Presiden SBY. Gatot mengatakan, sebagai pimpinan tertinggi partai pemenang membuat SBY mampu menerapkan secara benar sistem kabinet presidensiil.

"Sekarang ini saya melihat bahwa terlalu banyak campur tangan partai sehingga garis komando ini kadang-kadang tidak efisien," kata Gatot.
