Iran rejects ultimatum
The European major forces have rejected Iran's 'Ultimatum' for developing 'high-level uranium reserves' if countries that have signed an agreement to get rid of US sanctions do not do anything. But at the same time, European powers have also said that despite the tensions in the United States on the growing sanctions against Iran, they will continue to fight to save the nuclear deal. Meanwhile, the United States announced a new sanctions on Tehran's steel industry. On Wednesday, Iran announced in a declaration that the country will save some of the components of the nuclear deal and increase the uranium reserves and sell it in other countries. At the same time, it is said that if the three European countries signed the agreement and China and Russia can not take action to overturn US sanctions within 60 days, then Tehran will create 'higher level uranium reserves'. After this announcement, it was rejected by the European Union and new sanctions came from Washington. In fact, the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, China, and Russia signed the nuclear deal with Iran in 2015, by refraining from the ambition of creating nuclear weapons and withdrawing the ban. But the deal was termed "horrific" by US President Donald Trump last year, withdrawing the deal from the United States, and again imposed a series of restrictions on Tehran. In a joint statement yesterday, the European Union (EU) emphasized on continuation of the agreement. It is said that Iran, because of its own safety in order to avoid the ban, agreed to the agreement, with the exception of Iran's nuclear ambitions. In the statement, European Union President Jean-Claude Junker said it will be an important agenda in the forthcoming EU Conference in the Romanian city of Shiite.New restrictions: On the other hand, within a few hours of Iran's ultimatum, the United States has announced a ban on heavy metal industry on the country. US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order on Wednesday night (Iran's local time on Thursday). The White House said that the ban on the export of metal industries like iron, steel, aluminum and zinc sectors was announced. Source: AFP
