We all had the same problem in the past. You wake up and want to send a message to a friend that you can't go to work because you are sick but mistakenly you send it to grandma. You are lucky today because first time from presenting the app you can delete it and be sure that your grandma will not see it!!

Media reported that Mark Zuckenberg removed his messages completely from inboxes while normal user could remove it from his chat but still had a message .

NOW every single user will be able to delete every message you which he sent . Here you have official Zuckenberg Statement:
We have discussed this feature several times. And people using our secret message feature in the encrypted version of Messenger have the ability to set a timer — and have their messages automatically deleted. We will now be making a broader delete message feature available. This may take some time. And until this feature is ready, we will no longer be deleting any executives’ messages. We should have done this sooner — and we’re sorry that we did not

Finally we will have possibillity to delete our messages what will be very helpful with seding message to correct people.
