The total solar eclipse will occur for two minutes and a few seconds from the western region of the Pacific Ocean to the eastern region of the Atlantic Ocean, Tadars said, pointing out that the rest of the regions will see a partial eclipse due to the small size of the moon for the sun, which is about 270 km.

"It is important not to look directly at the sun at the time of the eclipse to emit harmful rays in the eye," he said, adding that this phenomenon also affects tides in the oceans and seas, where the level of islands rises at the time of the phenomenon.

He added that the Arab countries will not be able to see this phenomenon, pointing out that the last of the events in the Arab region was in 2006.
