Bogra Bureau: A businessman named Liton alias Rigon was killed in 'gunfight' with police in Bogra . The incident occurred on Monday night at around 2:15. Liton was shot dead in Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College (Shajimake) Hospital around 4am on Tuesday. Liton is the son of late Abul Kashem of Chakshatapure area. He lived in the Fulbari area of the city.
Additional Superintendent of Police Sanatan Chakraborty said that two constables of Detective Branch (DB) police were injured in the incident. They were admitted to Bogra Police Hospital. He further said that a group of drug dealers are changing the movement of the drug in the Matidali Biman area in the city. Inspector Aslam, led by Incharge Inspector Noor Alam Siddiqui of Bogra DB Police, went to the operation on Monday night. Meanwhile, members of the gang of drug trade activists fired at the police presence. Police retaliated with self-defense and chased them back. One of the injured was rushed to Shajimek Hospital and was rushed to the hospital. He died on Tuesday around four o'clock in the morning. Liton has five cases of drug laws under the police.

Rangpur office: A gang of drug dealers named Rabiul Islam was killed in 'gunfight' with police in Haragach Babu Para area under Kawnia upazila of Rangpur. The incident took place around 3:30 pm on Monday night. The son of Sohrab Hossain of Chongtari village of Ward No.5 of Dabirul municipal area was killed.
Officer-in-Charge of Kaunia Police Station Mamun-ur-Rashid said that on the basis of news that drug traders are staying in Haragachha Babupara area, police went on a raid. At the time, members of the drug trading circle fired at the police. Rabiul Islam died while the police fired counter and others escaped. Police recovered a local pistol, 126 pieces of yaba, 173 bottles of Phensidyl and three bullets from the spot.
OC further said, in the name of Rabiul Islam, there are 10 cases under the Narcotics Act of Kaunia Police Station. His body was kept in Rangpur Medical College Hospital's Himalayas.
Mymensingh office: The body of two drug traders was recovered from the bottom of the Kevatkhali Railway Bridge in Mymensingh city. Police say they may have been killed by the opponents of the drug trade gang.
The deceased were identified as Munna Mia (35) and Idris Ali (45). Their bodies were recovered at around 10:30 am on Tuesday.
Kotwali Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mahmudul Islam said locals informed the police station that they found their bodies lying there. Later, police rushed to the spot and sent them to Mymensingh Medical College (MMEC) Hospital for autopsy.
The OC said, 12 cases were filed against the murdered Munna Mia and 8 Idris against Idris Ali They are believed to have been killed in the attack by the opponent in the face of a fierce battle.
