The Saudi-led coalition has started a military operation against Houthi rebels in the coastal village of Salif, in the western province of Hodeidah, Yemen, Al Arabiya reported on Saturday. It also announced the destruction of Houthi sites that were reportedly used for manufacturing explosive-laden boats and drones in Salif. The coalition asked the civilians in Salif not to approach the targeted sites. Syrian military blocks US forces from accessing road in northeast Syria: video

BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:30 P.M.) - For the second time in fifteen days, the Syrian Arab Army checkpoint in the Tal Aswad area has blocked a U.S. military patrol. According to reports, the Syrian Army, on March 5th, blocked the U.S. military's access to the Hasakah-Tal Barak Road, forcing the latter to turn around. The Syrian military was filmed blocking the U.S forces' access to the highway, confirming the reports that first surfaced a few days.

Russian electronic warfare caused major problems for Turkish aircraft in Syria: report

Syria reopens important M-5 Highway to public

US forces surround town in Deir Ezzor: report

BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:00 P.M.) - Syrian State TV reported on Sunday that the U.S. military encircled a town in the Deir Ezzor Governorate earlier in the day. According to Syria TV, the U.S. military surrounded the town of Al-Basirah in northern Deir Ezzor, as they prevented residents from coming or leaving the area. The official Syrian TV channel, quoting local civil sources in the town, reported that the American forces cordoned off all of Al-Basirah, and prevented the residents from entering and leaving the area.
