Stephen Hawking (76) Died Today at his home in Cambridge in the early hours of Wednesday

At the age of 22 Stephen Hawking was given only a few years to live after being diagnosed with a rare form of motor neurone disease known as ALS. Over 50 years later the legendary theoretical physicist, cosmologist, and author has peacefully died in his home, according to his family.
