Augmented reality... the future of mobile gaming?

in #news8 years ago

With the release of Pokemon Go, and the hype that has been surrounding the
game pre and post launch, it has caught on and spread like wild fire.

I am positive you have came across people in your local area playing this game.
Walking around outside i see people everywhere playing it, the game is taking the world by storm,
and in inadvertently an unlikely community forms of total strangers who converse in the most unlikely
places and situations all on the quest for Pokemon.

This is a great concept game regardless if your a Pokemon fan or not - to see the direction
things are going and being able to bridge the gap that connects people, is interactive and
gets people outside most importantly.

If your an app developer or an upcoming entrepreneur then a suggestion, if your like me -
then we all played some form of hide and seek, hunts, or treasure hunt style game...
How about the idea of creating a treasure hunt style app game using the same format/mechanics
as the Pokemon Go game, utilizing Google maps and various reference points etc etc similar to the game.

With technology, funding and services at our finger tips these days, you dont need to reinvent the wheel, look at what is working and make your own variation and share it with the world for free.

App companies are some of the biggest businesses in the world which start from bedroom ideas
You may be thinking though how do i make money (monetize) if the game is free, this is done by
in game purchases i.e coins, weapons, levels etc etc and also in game advertising which we all love.
