The Future is coming .. Alphabet signs deal with Avis Rental car for their Self Driving Car Fleet

The future is getting closer and closer, and just like in the Sci-fi movies self-driving cars are becoming a reality.

If you’re not familiar with Google’s parent company Alphabet, well they own Google along with another company named Waymo which is their self-driving car unit. In an article just posted on Bloomberg news Alphabet just signed a Deal with Avis the rental car company to store, service, and maintain their fleet of self-driving vehicles.

The news of the partnership has already boosted Avis stock quite a bit, which may make this a good time to buy some of their stock ( not investment advice).

The article also touches on Avis’s own spin-off company Zipcar which is an on-demand car rental service that has over a million users and what the possible partnership could evolve into.
