Chinese New Year blooms red lanterns and dragon parade in London

LONDON: Streets of China Town blossomed with traditional lanterns, folk performances and annual light show in celebration for the New Year as per the Chinese calendar.

An annual dragon parade and many vibrant performances marched in with the hype of the Chinese New Year on February 18 – which embellished the popular China town in London with red lanterns and festive preps.

Another token into celebration hands children red envelopes that contains 'luck money' for the year ahead.
