Its always interesting to see a leak from a company that guards its source code so fiercely. Now it must be said that all Apple operating systems are based on Free-BSD, with a free and open source kernel called Darwin being downloadable from Apple's own website. Although the key security, application and visual code bases remain proprietary.

Its always fun to poke at Apple's argument that its the most secure platform in the world, even more fun poking fun at the cult of the Apple Fan. This gives us the opportunity to review and judge for ourselves if it is worthy of the secure title.

With mishaps last year such as the root no password login on a Macbook and new iPhone crashing after 7 December on iOS 11, can the community give Apple a much needed boost. I hate to say this as a self proclaimed Apple troll, but the quality has gone down since the loss of Steve.
