And he has to be completely still for 6 months after the operation. Wow!

Yea he needs time to allow the 2 different spinal cords to fuse together with the 'glue' as he calls it. A lot of neuro surgeons are ridiculing him saying itll never work but we shall see in december I guess.

Sounds a bit like from the movie Avatar, but I hope it's a bit more scientific than that. 😀 If this would be successful it would open up for some interesting things to come.

It's madness it's the surgery is 36 hours that must mean the guys head will be decapitated for a few hours while they reattach it to the body, so is he dead at the point for a while? Or how does that work?
