This is why running your news site on the blockchain can be so great. It can never be taken down. Obviously this wouldn't be an advantage to the fake news people though.
@davidpakman - Do you think there's any basic defense of a foreign power (*cough* Russia *cough*) here at Steemit with respect fake news, like what happened in the 2016 elections? Or do you think we're just as vulnerable now as we were then - or maybe even moreso that upclicks of fake news will actually be generating money for additional propaganda?
Our only saving grace right now is the fact that these guys are a bunch of total idiots. If there was someone even halfway competent in power, we would be doomed.

The Californian Republican tweeting “this is what a hero looks like Devin Nunes” reminds me of John Miller calling into shows and telling them of Donald Trump’s greatness and how all of the world’s most beautiful women wanted him bigly.

This Russian collusion is such fake news nonsense, completely forged to prevent Trump and later to take him out. SO OBVIOUS and even if you aren't paying attention to the fake news it is still somehow more obvious . How anyone is fooled by this stuff is beyond me, talk about drivel...DELUSIONAL... Until we can overturn Citizen's United, this fake news cancer will continue to metastize .. and in fact the patient, ie democracy, will probably die from athousand cuts before we manage to do that. They sold us all out to Trump just to get Gorsuch .. he was the main prize and they did it. And Gorsuch will never reverse Citizen's United. Send him a letter and ask him what he thinks .. I dont think you will get a reply, well maybe a form letter ...
