Liberals think they own black people by the virtue of "caring" for them and "thinking for them".
I carpooled with a liberal lady, and we had fun debates on the drive in...the MADDEST I ever saw her get was when I suggested that liberals think they owned the black vote; she replied "WE DO!", and then got angry when I pointed out the same democrats used to own slaves.
Most of my friends are like this, they are very good Buddhist and virtue signal 24/7...one of the reasons I considered leaving the social webs forever... They all have masters degrees too :-/
