Islamic State militants of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) uploaded photos of mass executions of tens or even hundreds of Iraqi soldiers on internt. The majority of Shia Iraqis are increasingly reinforcing sectarian conflict in the country.

Reported The Independent, Monday, June 16, 2014, there are several series of photos uploaded ISIS on jihadi site Welayat Salahuddin. In one of the photos, several people were seen being led to the field before being shot dead.

Other photos show dozens of prisoners stacked with bound hands. They are alleged soldiers who wear civilian clothes, jeans, bucket clamps, some are shirted Manchester United. They are then raised to a pickup vehicle.

In a field surrounded by palms, they lined up. Head facing the executor armed with Kalashnikov rifle aka AK-47. The ground where they lay had apparently been dug, so a shallow grave.

Another photo, AK-47 snout directed by the ISIS militants. Dust was scattered, blood was seen seeping into the ground. Dead execution done.

ISIS is famous for often uploading sadistic photos of murders that they do on the internet and social media. According to The Independent, ISIS is an expert in social media manipulation to be a propaganda tool to frighten their enemies.

According to an Iraqi army spokesman, Lieutenant General Qassim al-Moussawi, it was an original photograph and was taken in Tikrit, the hometown of Saddam Hussein. The city is like Mosul and others, has been mastered by ISIS.

A Tikrit local farmer, Tamer Hammoudi, 46, says ISIS has taken control of Speicher military Camp just outside the town of Tikrit. The military base, he said, is where ISIS keeps its prisoners of war.

"I saw the ISIS-controlled Speicher base, they held thousands of people there, 5,000 prisoners, I saw them put on the military base," Hammoudi said.
