A hacker attack affected Pentagon officials
At least 30,000 are the affected employees
The Pentagon has been the subject of a hacker attack, according to information from the US Department of Security, Engadget reports.
These are personal data, including credit cards for employees and military executives who have expired through a subcontracting organization.
An AP source says there is no classified information among leaked data, but up to 30,000 people are affected. This number is expected to increase.
So far there is no information as to when the breakthrough was made but was discovered on October 4th. The department informs all concerned.
