This seems like it could be giant leap forwards. It would be good to see the powers that be take a step towards altering the timespan between this research and the development of treatment for humans - Africa is still crippled and there seems to be a serious hope here.

Yes, I think we will hear a lot more about CRISPR in the future. There are so many different ways to use this technology, and I'm sure we'll start benefiting from it within the next few years!
