Syria's government forces killed 674 people in 13 days
The Syrian government forces killed at least 674 people in 13 days in rebel-regulated Gauta area with the help of the Russian forces. It is known that the attacks continued on Friday. A voluntary organization in the country told this. At least 400 thousand people were trapped in eastern Guwahati after the rebels went under control in mid-2013. Despite the concerns of the international community, the Security Council failed on Saturday's proposal to stop the attacks on Saturday.
The important steps in providing humanitarian relief have failed because of the controversial unilateral ceasefire. Due to the attack, more than 40 trucks filled with relief could not reach the 400,000 people living in the area. As a result, the United Nations has called for a quick implementation of the ceasefire. Meanwhile, on Monday Moscow declared a ceasefire for five hours a day, a lot of bombardment has decreased. Earlier, hundreds of people were killed in a few days of bombing. There is a worldwide storm of criticism.
Russia's proposed corridor is open for the third day to give a chance to civilians to leave the rebel-held area, but apparently not many people are seen going out. John Egeland, a UN Human Rights taskforce member of Syria, said he hoped that the arrival of the Eastern Gauta relief car in the next few days would allow the car to enter the fleet.
