Inventions that claim to change the world

in #news8 years ago

Science has brought us wonders during the modern era, and currently is developing projects that can change our life as we know it are being . Here are some of those revolutionary projects.

Rechargeable Airplanes

In order to reduce the negative environmental impact of aeronautical fuel, NASA is working hard to find prototypes such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's (MIT) D Series, which features a double fuselage that allows the engine to be installed at the rear and Which reduces fuel consumption by half. In addition, the Slovenian company Pipistrel is also working with the same objective and for that purpose has developed a light four-seater plane that runs completely on electricity.

Babak Parviz, a professor at the University of Washington, says his prototypes of goggles with a screen can increase reality and, by the way, eliminate the need for screens on phones, computers and widescreen TVs. To enjoy these benefits, the user must implant his invention in a contact lens

Spray WI-Fi

This curious invented will be carried out to be able to access the Internet from anywhere and at any time. Chamtech Enterprises has developed a liquid filled with nanocondensers, which take a better radio signal than a standard metal rod: the result is a Wi-Fi antenna in an aerosol can that can be painted on any surface.

Infinite Fuel

The scientist Harry Gray and a group of researchers are looking to create microscopic batteries, with metal oxides at one end and siliceous at the other, implanted in the membranes of plant cells, to absorb the radiation and generate hydrogen. In this way, they strive to develop an almost infinitely renewable energy generator.

I hadn't heard about these things, pretty neat!

Thank you for sharing the microscopic batteries idea! I will definitely keep an eye on this technology as it's been something I've been looking into for a while (i.e. batteries and hydrogen fuel cells harnessing hydrogen from the natural microbial environment).

As for the digital display goggles / contact lenses, I'm happy to see more people working on this other than tech giants Microsoft (Hololens), Facebook (Oculus Rift), and Google (RIP to the late Google Glass). While it is still a long ways away due to the challenges of nanotechnology and biotech (as well as public accpetance of having a nano-circuit embedded in their eyes...), I cannot wait to see these souped-up contacts on the market 10- or 20-years from now.

Same goes for the electric airplanes, which are a much larger polluter than ICE cars.

Definitely resteeming this.

yes, they are technologies that will come in a span of 20 years. Thanks for your interest! :D
