Recover bodies of women in Rajshahi

Police recovered the body of a woman working in Puthia in Rajshahi. The body was recovered from Naimuddin's mango garden in Nandanpur village of the upazila of the upazila at around 10:30 pm. The deceased woman was Rokeya Begum, 40, daughter of late Samaj Molla of Raghurampur village under Baneshwar union of the upazila. He used to work in a pulse mill in Baneshwar Bazar. On Monday evening, the pulse mill came out to work.

Puthia Police Station Officer-in-Charge Saidur Rahman Bhuiyan confirmed the matter. Shahid Ali, the brother of deceased Rokeya Begum, said that while my sister Rokeya got married to Nuru Ali of Birldah village in the upazila, two sons of Rokeya lived in Raghurampur with their sons and grandchildren. From there, Rokeya worked with a branch of Baneshwar Bazar.

Puthia Police Station Sub-Inspector Saiful Islam said that locals informed the police about the body of Rokeya Begum in the garden of Naimuddin adjoining the switched area of Nandanpur village around 10:30 am. Later the police rescued the body. A vanity bag was recovered near the body. Meanwhile, Puthia Police Station officer-in-charge Saidur Rahman Bhuiyan said, "The cause of death is not known primarily." The body was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for an autopsy. A UD case will be filed in the police station.
