Russia's strategic nuclear forces plan to intensify the patrol of supersonic bomber aircraft for global reach. The territory of Indonesia was mentioned as a territory that was once the range of patrols.

Commander of the Strategic Air Force Major General Sergey Kobylash announced the global patrol plan of Moscow's nuclear force on Friday (18/05/2018). The Arctic region is of particular concern in the global patrol plan.

"This year, we plan to fly Tu-160 to Anadyr (Russia's easternmost Arctic city) .The Arctic is very important to us and we have explored new airfields and other ways to improve security at the maritime border," Kobylash told Krasnaya Zvezda, a newspaper run by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"Kobylash also recalled how the Tu-22M3 bomber made a landing at Anadyr in Russia's Far East for the first time last year, as well as in Vorkuta, which lies north of the Arctic Circle.*

However, he stressed that the strategic nuclear army patrol also conquered new horizons in warm waters around the world, including Indonesia.

"The flight of strategic bomber crews and strategic missile models to the equator, to Indonesia, shows that the various tasks are increasing along with the range of flights and airfields where we are ordered to report our presence," Kobylash said.

The announcement of a global patrol bomber's increase in supersonic battles was announced by Kobylash after meeting Russian Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev on Wednesday.
