Hi Steemians,

A German submarine has been discovered not too far from where I live. The submarine has been discovered thanks to underwater scans. Research has pointed out that it's a German Submarine type UB-2. The submarine has been lying on the surface of the seabed during all those years.

The wreck is 27m long and 6m wide. all lockets are still closed wich means this submarine has never been found. This also means that the 27 crew-members are also still on board. Could you imagine what it must feel like being trapped in a submarine on the seabed?

The lists with names have been requested. This is all the info I could gather. Politicians and government officials are keeping this out of the public to prevent adventurers to go take a look.

The wreck has signs of damage on the front end of the submarine. Experts think these damages have been caused by mine explosions. further investigation will clarify the reason of sinking.

This submarine was part of the Flandern Flotille. This fleet consisted of 19 submarines. 15 of them have sunk
