The budget is designed to put the taxpayer first, create jobs, and build economic growth. It balances the Federal budget and turns the deficit into a $16 billion surplus by 2027. With national defense as a top priority increasing defense spending by $54 billion. Importantly increases funding for the Department of Veterans Affairs by $4.3 billion. Americans' safety being put first by providing $2.6 billion in increased funding for border security. Makes no cuts to either Medicare or Social Security retirement. The budget provides national paid family leave for the first time in the history of this country. Also helps American families by implementing the first national paid family leave initiative. Saves the American people billions of dollars through welfare and regulatory reform. The President's budget sees a decline in debt as a percentage of GDP every year in the budget window.

Unfortunately a lot of people dont realize how big of a problem our national debt is. We MUST balance the budget and get the debt under control. Printing money and wasting it is foolish.
Yes I totally agree @johngault. One day the peasants will wake up and wonder where the money went, just like what happened in Greece and Venezuela.

We need to balance the budget first. The government is way too large in fact it is obese. At this rate the country will go into shock and will need an EMt to resuscitate it. WE NEED TO PUT AMERICA CITIZENS FIRST ABOVE THE GOVERNMENT. I feel Trump is our only hope. I also feel he was chosen by God at this moment to lead America. Thanks for the great post. I did upVote.
