Previously, the launch of the new mini-album "Love Yourself: Tear" was announced for the first time on April 14. Early orders were available on April 18, and in the first six days of the pre-order period, Love Yourself: Tear broke a record of 1.44 million copies in South Korea.
-Not only Love Yourself: Tear became the most preordained album of all time in South Korea (surpassing its predecessor, Love Yourself: Her), but also turned BTS into the first K-pop group to overcome the million pre-orders with multiple albums.

But...

-In just one week (from July 18 to 24) Love Yourself: Answer has sold 1,511,910 copies of Love Yourself: Answer, so, for now, 9,308 copies have been sold more than Love Yourself: Tear, these Sifras are not the final result since the pre-orders are only open for South Korea and not yet for the foreigner in which their works are sold massively.

Thanks to the act that only they manage to break their own records, it has been called 'Record-sonyeondan'.

The repackaged album to be released on August 24 exceeded 1,511,910 pre-orders.
