  • Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang is scheduled to visit Indonesia on 6-8 May 2018.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said in a written statement in Beijing on Wednesday (2/5/2018) that PM Li's visit to Indonesia was invited by President Joko Widodo. This is a return visit.

Coordinating Minister for Marine Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan earlier said that PM Li is scheduled to be received by President Joko Widodo on May 6, 2018.

After from Indonesia, Prime Minister Li Keqiang will fly to Japan. Prime Minister Li visited Japan at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and attended a meeting of Chinese, Japanese and South Korean leaders.

Li, who was elected prime minister for a second term in March 2018, will hold talks on the follow-up to the 21st Century Silk Road and Maritime Lane initiative / initiative or Belt and Road in Indonesia.
