Throughout 2017, 54 Patients Killed While Waiting for Permits from Zionist Israel to Exit Gaza
A total of 54 Palestinian patients were killed waiting for a security accord from the Zionist Israel to get a referral out of Gaza throughout 2017. The figures are reported in the World Health Organization (WHO) report on Wednesday (7/2).
Only 54 percent of patients are approved to exit Gaza from the Israeli Erez checkpoint or Beit Hanoun, North Gaza.
"There has been a continuous decline in approval levels since 2012, when about 93 percent of applications are approved," the World Health Organization (WHO) said.
The publication of the WHO report comes amid a humanitarian crisis in the besieged territory. The power outages, as well as the lack of clean water add to the suffering of about two million Gazans. Gaza's health system is in danger of being paralyzed, with a 40 percent shortage of drugs. In addition to drugs, hospitals are also short of fuel. Currently, the lives of 1,700 patients are threatened.
Companions, we can imagine how many lives should depend on the limitations of hospitals in Gaza. There is not much they can do to deal with this situation, given Gaza's economic downturn. They just hope, hopefully many brothers of the faithful faithful who can help them now.
