STONEMAN DOUGLAS/ SHOOTING/ THE RAINBOW
My daughter goes to Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School . We all know there was a horrific shooting there with many students and teachers killed on Valentines Day !! I’m blessed my daughter came home to me safe. As many of my neighbors children did not. I am so proud of our kids. Stepping up and asking our officials to change the laws. To do something about war weapons on the streets. They all ready got the state to make some changes. Next there marching on Washington DC this month. The children are the future and they will all be voting in the next few years. So maybe there is a rainbow in here some where. This is a pic of that rainbow 2 days later , almost going right into the school building where the shooting happened!!! Many believe this was the spirits of our children showing us some light. !! Make a RAINBOW!!! Get involved with elections !

Yes it’s crazy. Plus you never think it will happen to you. Young girl sits in desk behind my daughter was shot ! So I feel blessed to have gotten my daughter home safe.

Yes we have to believe and do not give up trying to do what you can to prevent the same thing from happening again. I will keep the students and children in my prayers. May those gone RIP and those that survived, have the courage and strength to carry on. At the end of the rainbow, the pot of gold is their success to do what they dare to do. You have my support. Keep up the good work.

You should be proud of your children. They are prepared to fight for their future. Need great parents to support their cause. Stay positive and pray for others to support as well to make it happen.
i feel sorry for the other parents who lost their children i don't know if I can handle that sadness if I'll be the one in that situation.
Yes it’s hard. With some of us blessed to hold our children and neighbors with the ultimate loss. Plus the children with survivors guilt. Wondering why they are ok. My daughter is dealing with that and it’s very difficult.

the shooting everywhere is scary , especially when its at the school.. I am glad your daughter was fine! what a beautiful rainbow and best wishes on the changes!
