Surabaya police station suicide bomber 'a family'
In another church in the city of Surabaya in Indonesia, a family member attacked the police station without going 24 hours after the suicide bombing of 13 people. Another family attacked.
The Indonesian police chief said that a suicide attack carried out outside the police building in Surabaya on Monday was a family of five members. He said that eight of them were children.
Several civilians including some police officers have been injured in the attack, Reuters reported.
Police chief Tito Carnavian said at a press conference that the family made a suicide bomb at the checkpoint in front of the police department by doing two motorcycles.
Although four members of the family were killed, the eight-year-old child survived, he was admitted to the hospital and he is recovering quickly, said Carnavian.
On Sunday, 13 people were killed in three church attacks, claimed responsibility of the militant Islamic State (IS).
