I am not sure that would be the case as the value would increase, the steem rewards would be lower but the value higher.

NSFW posts? I live in a bubble - if I see that stuff I mute it, but I get your point. I built a huge Twitter following ( all real) but I know of others who used a sexy girl's avatar and duplicated my results. On social media, mostly nothing is real - except for peeps like you & me...okay and @merej99, @creatr, & @countrygirl LOL!!
Yeah, we have to put up with a lot of bull and peeps reaping big rewards for little quality...c'est la vie ici
