How could a grandson scam his own elderly grandparents?

Based on the article, the grandson hasn't told his side of the story yet. Assuming that the article has all the facts correct, the grandson is a total turd.
Valid point flexcougar. But I think if he had a good rebuttal, he would have come forth to clear his notoriety. I think his silence speaks volumes. Old people are quite gullible, especially if they deal with a family member. No one really expects this type of behaviour from blood relatives anyway.
