Amazon customer asks the platformto Accept Bitcoin and Litecoin As Payments
An Amazon customer made a petition to ask Jeff Bezos CEO of Amazon to accept Bitcoin and Litecoin as payment methods on the e-commerce platform.
The petition has already gathered more than 1400 supporters. However, at this stage it seems unlikely for Amazon to accept such a request since it has always been very hesitant to support cryptocurrency.
Do you think that Amazon will change its position this time? If it is the case, do you think this will have any effect on the results of the platform.
I think that in this domain, Japan remains the leader in the world. Bitcoin can already be used as a payment method in over 260,000 merchants and retailers starting April this year. In Japan, you can now book your hotel room or buy your airplane ticket and pay with Bitcoin.
