Perhaps the circulation of perception towards it , being expose to more on manipulation views from government and NGO that depends on official structure and regulations. A control mechanism that was continuously viral to believe as 'benefits and support' mechanism.

A fear and threaten views from public concern towards the consequences involvement of blockchain technology was increased recently due to usage of bitcoin. Negative impacts including bribery, terrorist support, laundering scams, ponzi schemes was addressed by government and public. More bias perception theory was circulated which was happened even before the blockchain exist. However, ponzi scheme cases were increased massively . Bottom line is because the technology is anonymous itself. Like a high wall defending criminals behinds it. 'Can't be prevent and track; blockchain was used by huge population and its out of control but possible to be improved' quote by Bitcoin Gold Co-founder known as 'Sweden Pirate Tander'.

P2P pioneer called 'Napster' was shutdown by the government due to copyright issue which claimed to be threatening towards song's writers. Even when the technology has been developed in more ethical ways, it will be view as a threat of US dollars. Somehow there is no rational to point finger towards the technology itself. Various of alternatives currencies were circulated during the existence of the holistic technology but there is no hoax to blame it.

However, blockchain is something that will be spread across global without geographical, middleman, third party involvement. It depends on the purpose of its community.
