The leader of one of the most popular Polish punk rock bands 80.90. he died at the age of 53.
Tomasz Wojnar, known to music fans as Siwy, was born on June 15, 1965 in Wałbrzych. In 1981, he founded a punk band called "BUNT" in the same city, which a year later changed its name to "Defekt Muzgó".
In 1983, the band made their debut at the Jarocin festival, where he later played several times. Seven years later, the group was a revelation of the event - a concert on a small stage brought her an audience award, which then during the performances of other performers demanded the return of the Wałbrzych residents to the stage with shouts of "Defekt Muzgó!". The not too sophisticated, but defensive punch of Defektu won many fans all over Poland, and also has a large group of followers of the style he developed.
A year after the memorable performance in Jarocin, the band recorded their most famous album, "We all go ...", a live album during a concert in Wrocław. It contained such hits as "Brain Defect", "Masquerade" and "And I Live". The author of most of the songs on the album was Wojnar. In 1994, the band's leader recorded the album "Generation '80" with Para Wino.
Siwy was a great man, he will become a legend of Polish Punk Rock forever, he will be remembered in the hearts of Polish punks forever RIP [*]
In 1997, Defekt Muzgó suspended operations. He reactivated in 2001 and remained active until today, although in recent years, two groups emerged under the famous name that emerged from the original composition
