Hackers spread viruses in crypto-coin chat groups.
All care is little, it is necessary to take precaution in chat channels since malicious codes are being distributed that deal with issues related to crypto-coins such as Bitcoin and that therefore reaches users with interest in this subject addressed.
However, this digital pest has been programmed for Apple MacOS computers: MacBook, iMac and Mac mini and gives full control of the infected computer to the hacker, where victims are convinced to install the virus because criminals disguise themselves as moderators or members of the channel and suggest the use of a special command that they said would solve technical problems people would be facing.
The command is responsible for downloading the malicious program and running it with full permission of the root, in turn the attack draws attention to reach users of Apple computers, which are rarely hit by digital pests.
Once installed on the computer, the virus gives full control of the system to those responsible for the virus, and the pest also steals the victim's root password and has full access to the keys to transfer the coins to other users.
When dealing with security all care is little, then stay tuned in Slack and Discord chat groups.
