The last part of the post is quoted from the source, the first is original. It is news and to quote from the source is to give the accurate details. I also included a link to the source.

Ok,
I wrote a longer introduction and left the rest as is, because as a news article I am reporting to Steemit readers facts, which I think is news worthy, from an original source. I place this article under news and not in any other category where I might claim the story as my own creation. Shouldn't news be quoted from an original source and not be made up? If the news is the latest development in a scenario, and it is fact, what other new informational value can be added? This is one of the latest discoveries made.

If you want to copy news, just give one sentence explaining and link. No need to copy-paste whole or part of news article.

The part that is copy and pasted is just the interesting part(highlight) of how the discovery was made, the rest of the information is at the original source, and for those interested, they can read it there.
