According to a few sources, he passed away of natural causes at his home, The Playboy Mansion in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, California, near Beverly Hills, California. Hugh Hefner founded Playboy Magazine approximately 60 years ago with $1600USD, $600 of his own money & a $1000 loan from his mother. Marilyn Monroe was Playboy's first centerfold. Hugh Hefner lived a great live constantly surrounded by loved ones and beautiful women. Rest in Peace Hugh Hefner.
