4G: Dream surrounded by dark ghosts
M. Mizanur Rahman Sohel reports a lot of SIM replacement, lack of suitable handsets, will not be available on iPhone right now, incompatibilities with international speed, concerns about the quality of service and the implementation of the FourG implementation.
Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has handed over the license of the fourth-generation Internet Service for Fogy's license to the mobile operators on Monday. At night an operator started the Fourier service in certain areas of Dhaka. However, there are many dreams around the light of photogeography but surrounded by darkness. There are many limitations of the speed internet. According to the last date of BTRC, 14 million 51 lakh 14 thousand users of mobile SIM users in the country till last December. Of these, 7 million 50 million 50 thousand mobile internet use. About 150 million SIM users have registered biometric SIM. Now anyone has to re-seam replacements to use the mobile internet. Operators are ready to face this new challenge. But no one knows how long or possible it will be possible.
However, CEO of Grameenphone (CEO) Michael Folio says that with the experience we have gained during the biometric registration, we can overcome the next Frozy Sim Replacement complexity. In addition to the Sim Replacement complications, there is a big challenge in the shortcomings of the FourG handsets. As a result, customers will have to stay away from the preferred mobile service due to no SIM handset. There are 15 million iPhone users in the country. There are also bad news for them. IPhone users are not getting the chance to use Forsi in Bangladesh because the country's country code '+880' is locked in Apple's handsets. Although the BTRC says it is trying to resolve it soon.
There are questions about the value of the wave that will serve the FourGL service. In this regard, Mohiuddin Ahmed, President of Bangladesh Mobile Consumers Association said, the question of the 3G 3G services offered by Robi 36.4 MHz for this period was at the 3G level? The speed of this internet wave was 5 Mbps. For speed, the speed has been set at 20 Mbps. Wherever the average speed of 6 Mbps can not be taken by this wave, in the same way, using the current BTS, how will the Internet increase the value of the Internet? He further said that the government may have earned revenue of Tk 5423 crore by selling waves; Which has been imposed indirectly from the public. Nevertheless, the control commission and operators are giving false information and assurance to customers which is very sad and shameful. Because the 60 MHz wave requires 20 Mbps speed.
Meanwhile, debate has started since the announcement of the introduction of a new four-phase service through social media. Many complain that the 3G service in Bangladesh is still open on September 8, 2013 even though 3G services are not available properly outside the capital, while the introduction of mobile phones is nothing but ridiculous. On February 13, the foreseen auction was completed in the country by the BTRC on February 13. Grameenphone and Banglalink took part in the auction. The mobile operator Banglalink bought 2,500 MHz band for 5 MHz at auction. Whose price is 28 million US dollars Banglalink bought 5 MHz band in 1800 MHz band. The value of this wave is 21 million US dollars. Grameenphone, on the other hand, bought 5 megahertz waves in the 1800 MHz band.
Prior to the auction, there were 32, 36.4, 20 and 25.2 megahhar waves in different brands respectively with Grameenphone, Robi, Banglalink and Teletalk. After the auction, Grameenphone and Banglalink waves rose to 37 and 30.6 MHz respectively.
Robi combined with Airtel, the operators were refrained from participating in the auction because of the wave of more than 36.4 MHz of all operators. Grameenphone 1800 band bought 5 MHz of wavelengths and raised the volume of 37 MHz. And the banglalink bought 1800 band of 5.6 MHz and 5000 MHz band of 5000 MHz, and the wave size was 30.6 MHz. Grameenphone is more than 0.6 Mhz more than Robi competition. In the present world, there are 430 countries in the world. The average speed is 16.6 Mbps. The highest speed is in Singapore and South Korea, respectively 46.64 and 45.85 Mbps respectively. Norway also has 42 MBps in Hungary. In addition to this, the current speed of the Internet at the marginal level of Bangladesh is 2.1 MBps or less.
