Write Surabaya Bomb Support on Facebook, Mother in Aceh Arrested

Aceh - A housewife in Banda Aceh, WF (37), was arrested by police for commenting on a Facebook post related to the Surabaya bombing with SARA tone. The perpetrator initially distributed a related post-riot at Mako Brimob Kelapa Dua, Depok.

The perpetrators allegedly committed SARA through social media Facebook and then secured officers Ditreskrimsus Polda Aceh on Monday, May 14, yesterday at around 11:45 pm, said Head of Public Relations of Aceh Police Kombes Misbahul Munauwar when asked for confirmation AFP on Tuesday (15/05/2018).

It is suspected that the perpetrators of WF are distributing other people's posts related to the riot at Mako Brimob on Sunday (13/5). In the status it shares, there is a netizen who commented and informed of the bomb blast at Santa Maria Church, Ngagel, Surabaya.

The WF then replied to the comment from the netizen with the SARA-like words, that 'it is lawful for the blood of infidels'. Police who received information about this then conducted an investigation and managed to capture the perpetrators in Banda Raya Sub-district, Banda Aceh.

When arresting the perpetrators, police seized a cell phone unit allegedly used to write the comment. Evidence and perpetrators are now secured at the Aceh Police Headquarters to undergo the examination.
