I was at almost all the G20 protests and Riots and would like to explain my perspective. A completely different, as in the media is to read.

Day 1

Afternoon:

Welcome to Hell – Mass panic

On Thursday evening the protest "Welcome to Hell" should start. Previously, there were some concerts at the fish market. The atmosphere was super-relaxed but motivated. During the concerts an Argentine journalist came and interviewed us, why we are there and what we think about the future. After the concerts, everyone met on the street to start the protest. The protest was signed up and approved, and there were amazingly no restrictions. Thousands of people were standing in the street, I would say at least 50000. All loudspeakers announced: We remain peaceful because we want to walk and no street battles. Time passed and the police blocked the route with water cannons. In addition, the police appeared in a double row on the left side of the demonstration. We waited a long time and nothing happened. All demonstrators were peaceful, nothing happened. But everything suddenly changed. Without a warning, without any word, the police attacked the waiting protest from the left. With pepper spray, tear gas, batons, blows and kicks. To the right of the street stands a 3-4 meter high flood wall. The protesters, no one of whom had done anything, was pushed against the wall with full force. Everyone coughing, crying, had difficulty breathing and were beaten. There was intentionally triggered a mass panic. With the help of others, we climbed to the wall and jumped down on the other side. There were demonstrators, mostly from the black block, who helped the people selflessly across the wall. There were massive injuries. Everywhere there were people with swollen face, many held ankle and joints. They had suffered bone fractures, bruises and sprains. Some were even covered in blood. Later we met somebody who had helped us over the wall in the masses. He was hurt in the whole face. The policemen had pushed him, and when he lay on the ground in the face, when people came to help, pepper spray was used against them.

Why all this violence against peaceful demonstrators?
According to police, there were about 1000 people who have violated the prohibition and were wearing masks. In reality it was far less, we saw it with our own eyes!
According to police, the protest was warned. We heard nothing, not a single word!

Evening:

Decentralized Riots - The police are driving at high speed to people gathering

The hatred of the violent behavior of the police rose. No one had done anything, and yet they were all so severely attacked, the dead were theoretically accepted. But whoever is frightened and goes, makes only what the state power wants. That is why almost nobody left, but went to the city. There were seatblocks at the horse market. They were peaceful. People sat down on the streets in order to process what had previously been experienced and to set a sign. But then came the police. Pictures like those of the terrorist attacks took place. The police transports drove with extreme speed to the seated people. Without braking, not even a bit. If not all of them were jumping away in time, there could have been injured and even dead here again. And this was not an isolated incident, but happened in considerable numbers. If a terrorist drives into a crowd, is the scream great but when the police do it, is it legitimized?

Night:

No more peace

After the events of the afternoon and evening peace was denounced. Protestants erected burning barricades and threw bottles and stones on policemen. The violent protestors were, moreover, not as many as it seems, perhaps 1000 people of 50000. On this night, we already realized that here is no left terrorism, but a state-wanted escalation.
