New BMW Z4 Unveiling on 17th August
The BMW Z4 has always remained an ideal Convertible Roadster ever since it was introduced in 2002. Now, the BMW has released a teaser indicating that the 2018 BMW Z4 could be unveiled at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on 17th August 2017. The teaser was released on the BMW's official Instagram handle-
Recently, several spy shots of the Z4 test mule were cropping up on the internet. Read more about the camouflaged Z4 that was spotted last year-http://bit.ly/2hBFqrV
Most interesting thing about this new BMW Z4 is that it is developed in collaboration with Toyota. I hope it's not just company's way of marketing the Z4 as a reliable German sportscar. What do you guy think? Let me know in the comments.
Don't think Toyota has to prove its reliability more like BMW improving theirs by getting Toyota's input. Not that they would ever advertise it like that.
The quality of the German premiums has really suffered in the last decade especially the moment the car is out of factory warranty :).
Either way thanks for sharing. That silhouette looks nothing like that camouflaged car though so who knows maybe an 8 series targa/convertible? Look at how close the windscreen frame is to the rollover hump in the back. Looks sleek no doubt about it!
Yes, by partnering with Toyota that's what BMW is trying to convey indirectly. German and Japanese manufacturing and designing style vary a lot. It will be interesting to see, till what extent BMW Z4 is influenced by Toyota.
The silhouette looks nothing like spied car- you got that right. However, if you look closely, the teaser is a rough hand drawing. And we all know how different are concepts to an actual car :)
On second thought- The side profile does resemble the 8-Series to an extent. 8-Series Targa could be a great move.
